Mortgage Consultant
I am a native of the Western suburbs of Chicago, growing up in Clarendon Hills, IL and attended Hinsdale Central High School. I matriculated to Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business through the SC Johnson College of Business.
My professional career began in Las Vegas, Nevada managing high end restaurants and night clubs on the Vegas Strip. Specifically, I ran Red Square and Rumjugle, both located in Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort. My experiences included hosting the official NBA Allstar Game after party, the official De Lay Hoya vs Mayweather after party, and infamously turning down a job opportunity from Wolfgang Puck.
Upon returning to Chicago, I pursued a more traditional restaurant experience. I joined Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Chicago where I ran operations for several years. Following Ruth’s Chris, I purchased and operated my own restaurant. For over 10 years, I owned and operated Boston Blackies restaurants in both Deerfield and Chicago, IL.
I pivoted my career and switched industries by entering the mortgage business with Crown Mortgage Company. While my passion for restaurants has not faded, it was quickly matched with the new mortgage banking environment. Today, I incorporate the hospitality element of my restaurant career in every mortgage transaction conducted. I am eager to offer my services and knowledge to potential borrowers and realtors and look forward to working with you soon.
When not in the office, I am typically spending time with my wife and 2 young daughters in and around our Wheaton, IL home.
